Format
Progressive Shootout, Texas Hold'em. Main tables seat 9 players. The top 3 from every main table advance, but each finisher goes to a different stage. The structure is designed so 1st place gets the easiest path and 3rd place has the most road ahead.
Buy-in
$25,000,000 sent to the organiser with the message "Shootout Tournament Entry". The full buy-in goes directly to the prize pool.
Stage Flow
- Stage 1 All registered players start here. 1st advances to Stage 4, 2nd to Stage 3, 3rd to Stage 2. Eliminated players are eligible for the 25M rebuy.
- Stage 2 3rd place finishers from Stage 1 plus 25M rebuy winners. 1st advances to Stage 4, 2nd to Stage 3. Eliminated players are eligible for the 50M rebuy.
- Stage 3 2nd place finishers from Stage 1, Stage 2 2nd-place finishers, and 50M rebuy winners. Top of each table advances to Stage 4. Eliminated players are eligible for the 75M rebuy.
- Stage 4 1st place finishers from Stage 1, Stage 2 winners, Stage 3 winners, and 75M rebuy winners. Played in two phases — see below.
Stage 4 — The Finish
Phase 1 splits the field across 3 tables. On each table: 1st takes a guaranteed 40M bonus and a final-table seat, 2nd takes their 25M buy-in back plus a final-table seat, 3rd takes a final-table seat, 4th–6th go to the money table, and 7th or lower is out.
Phase 2 is two tables. The final table (9 players) pays 1st through 9th — 1st is the champion. The money table (the 4th–6th finishers) plays for the last paid spots, 10th through 12th. The winner bonuses are reserved off the top of the prize pool before the top-12 split.
Rebuy System
You can rebuy once per stage, immediately after losing — the rebuy tier is fixed by the stage you lost at. Rebuy tables are 3 players, only the winner advances. If you lose your rebuy, you're out.

Lost in Stage 1. Winner enters Stage 2.

Lost in Stage 2. Winner enters Stage 3.

Lost in Stage 3. Winner enters Stage 4.
No skipping. You must lose at a stage to unlock that stage's rebuy. You cannot enter a higher rebuy tier without reaching that stage first.

No collusion, ghosting, or unfair play. Respect all players.
Breaking rules may result in disqualification and exclusion from future tournaments.
Punctuality
Lateness is not okay. People have scheduled this into their day and don't want to be waiting around for others. If for some reason you can't make your timeslot, let a steward know ASAP and we'll see what we can do. If you can no longer make it last minute, please get in touch rather than ghosting.
Tournaments start automatically on time, whether you're there or not.
Prize Pool
100% of buy-ins and rebuys go into the prize pool. Donations grow the pool further.
